Inside our AI animation ad process at Adcrate
What we use to make hundreds of these every month...
Hey guys,
Everyone says they hate AI ads. And yet AI animation ads are crushing it in ad accounts right now.
They're fast, cheap, and stupidly easy to make once you have the workflow down. No creators, no shoot, no editor, and a whole ad can be ready in an afternoon.
This week I'm breaking down our exact process. It's the same one we use to make hundreds of these every month across our client accounts.
Want to watch the full walkthrough? Here's the YouTube video:
Let's get into it :)
First, here's what I've found interesting this week:
Big update: We release the Parker MCP and the Parker brain - the most complete ad creative brain on the internet
An interesting article I came across on loops with Fable 5
Someone on X crossed Schwartz's stages of awareness with Cashvertising's Life Force 8 to get 40 new ad angles to test
How to make hundreds of AI animation ads every month
The process…
The whole process runs through a single Claude project, Higgsfield (Nano Banana 2 + Kling 3.0), and (if you're adding a song) Suno.
I've linked the full workflow doc, all the prompts, and a swipe file of 30+ AI animation ads at the bottom if you want to try this yourself.
I’ve also linked relevant sections of the doc throughout this newsletter.
TLDR:
Set up a Claude project with the knowledge docs and system instructions
Lock in the script + visual direction (this is super important)
Generate consistent start frames in Nano Banana Pro/GPT Image-2
Animate each scene in Kling 3.0
(Bonus) Layer it with an AI song from Suno
Step 1: Set up your Claude project
Drop these into Claude as knowledge docs, you’ll find them in here:
Animated Ads Style Guide (covers Pixar style, claymation style, and when to use each)
Add the project's system instructions and you're ready. Everything you need is in the workflow doc.
Then drop in the Master Research Prompt and change three things (highlighted in the screenshot below): brand name, brand URL, product to feature.

Change: Brand name, brand URL, and product to feature in the prompt
Claude will go research the brand and come back with a brand brief for you to review before scripting.
Step 2: Lock in script + visual direction…
This is the most important part of the whole process.
With everyone starting to make these sorts of ads now, you can't just make the same generic Pixar style that everyone else is.
You need a strong script and good visual direction to make a great AI ad.
Take this air animation we made for Hume Health.
This is one of the best examples I've seen of pairing a strong script with creative visual direction.
We've actually got an internal hire at Adcrate whose only job is to make AI video ads, because the creative direction is what takes one of these from good to great. If you're at scale, it's a worthwhile hire (even part-time).
Once your script is locked, input this into Claude:
“Now, turn this script into Nano Banana Pro prompts that I can put directly into the model to create my start frames for each scene. Each scene will be 8-10 seconds for reference.”
Step 3: Generate your start frames in Nano Banana Pro/GPT Image-2
Once you have the prompt, drop it into Higgsfield. Generate 2–3 variations per scene so you've got options to pick from.

Here’s an example prompt that was given by Claude following the same process.
If a generation isn't quite right, you've got two options:
Drop a screenshot or Pinterest reference of an ad you like the style of into Higgsfield
Take the output back into Claude with "I'm getting this. I want it to be more like this. Update the prompt."
Both work well. I usually go to Claude first.
The consistency trick: generate your first image to lock the visual (palette, lighting, character look). Then for every subsequent scene where the same character or set appears, drop that first image in as a reference. Without this, your character drifts between frames and the ad falls apart.
Step 4: Animate the scenes in Kling 3.0…
Now go back to Claude and type this:
"Now write me the animation prompts."

Example of a Claude animation prompt
Drop the Claude-generated prompt into Higgsfield with the matching start frame and run them. 8 seconds, 1080p, current 3.0.
I prefer Kling over Veo. It's objectively cheaper, and I think the outputs are better, but again, you can use whichever you prefer.
A trick for the next level: instead of hard cuts between scenes, use the next scene's start frame as the END frame for the previous one. This blends every shot into one continuous story.
The Viasox varicose veins ad does this brilliantly. What looks like seamless animation is actually four or five blended clips 👇
Don't start with blended shots if it's your first AI animation ad. It's hard to get right. Stick with hard cuts until you've shipped a few.
When a clip doesn't land (e.g. your bathroom scale character comes back timid instead of scary), just take it back into Claude with the specific feedback and regenerate.
This is essentially the whole process, just tweaking until you get the output you want. It really is that simple for this type of ad.
Bonus: layer it with an AI song from Suno
This is an ad format I am super bullish on right now.
Primal Queen does this brilliantly. An AI-generated song layered over the AI animation. This was one of their top ads by impressions in Q2.
I tested the same approach for one of our clients. Pulled their winning script into Claude, asked it to rewrite the lyrics in the style one of the Suno song ads in my swipe file (not the Primal Queen ad but similar), then dropped the lyrics straight into Suno.
Here's what it came out as. Pretty cool.
If you want to experiment with AI ads, there are so many different formats. Here are some of our go-to’s:
If you want to go deep on AI ads, Camilo is a great follow. A lot of what's influenced our process has come from his work.
Here's the link to the full workflow doc, It includes every prompt, the style guide, the Kling reference, the script examples, and here’s the Parker swipe file of 30+ AI animation ads.
